قاعدة الخيارات الفائضة Over Choices هل تعلم ماذا نعني بمصطلح "الخيارات الفائضة ( Over choices )"؟ خذ هذا المثال : في عام 2000 قام اثنان من الباحثين بعمل كشك لبيع العسل، عرضا فيه ستة أنواع مختلفة من العسل. الذي حدث أن   40% من المارة توقفوا أمام الكشك وسألوا عن الأنواع، وقد قام ثلاثة أرباعهم    بالشراء .. أي 75% ممن توقفوا !   Honey Shop Experience  أعاد الباحثان الكَرة, ووضعا هذه المرة 24 نوعا مختلفا من العسل.  المفاجأة كانت أن 60% من المارة توقفوا وسألوا عن الأنواع واختلافاتها .. لكن الذين اشتروا فعليا هم 5% فقط من الذين توقفوا !  هناك اختلاف كبير بين نسبة الأشخاص الذين اشتروا في السيناريو الأول والثاني ..  إذا ، ما الذي حدث؟ ما حدث هو أن الخيارات المتاحة امام الزبون تعددت كثيرا ! وصارت حالة من ال "Over choices"، وعندها يحتار العقل، وفي الغالب ينتهي به المطاف إلى التعب من التفكير والغاء الفكرة اساسا طمعا في عدم الوقوع في تبعات اختيار خاطئ ! هذا ما يحصل في أمور كثيرة في حياتنا، مثلا تجد النساء درج ملابسها مليئا بالملابس,  لكنها لا تشعر...
