Why You Always feel Stuck?
Always feeling stuck with learning? |
1- Write down all the tasks
Well, listing down your tasks is a major thing to do as mapping the road. Write down everything that hasn't been down the past week plus the things to be done today and through the week ahead. You do this but still cannot accomplish your plan the way you think?
2- Evaluate and prioritize
Since they are TASKS, they are all important and must be carried out. But, they are not equally important; as some have more importance, some have time limit, and some are critical. So, after writing down ALL the tasks, then - first things first - start evaluating through them through organizing and prioritizing the most critical and most important to come on top of the list.
3- Time frame
One of the pitfalls we all stuck with is "multitasking". You try to get everything completed in the same time thinking that this will be a professional fast achievement - it is not. Plus, this has a negative impact on the quality of the achievement and it is distracting your attention as well and by the end of the day you can not spot the difference or the accomplishment. Avoid multitasking and put a schedule for the tasks based on your evaluation and their importance in step 2.
4- Know when you are at your best
When the day starts, it's like the engine starts roaring. It happens with some people once they open their eyes. We all get into a rush of emails, calls, conference calls, meetings, etc. Spot the perfect time when you are at your sharp mind, and this would be mainly in the very beginning of the day. So, save that time where you are at your best for achieving. Meanwhile, avoid time wasting chit-chats, smoking for longer times, thinking in too many things that will get you no where but wasting your most valuable time, and start right away.
5- Get Organized
The clutter on your desk is reflected in your brain, so make sure to make the pre-event steps. Remove all the barriers and distraction that would delay the process of achieving starting from cleaning up the mess on your desk, making sure that all the tools are in reach, your pens, your mouse, your desk is clean, that way you are giving a signal to your brain saying that WE ARE READY.
6- Reward yourself
By ticking out the finished tasks, you are not only getting more organized but simply rewarding yourself and passing a positive signal to your brain that WE ARE ON TRACK. This will enhance the process and even open a space for new tasks. Small reasonable rewarding will be of a benefit too, but on the condition that there's no exaggeration.
Then, only writing down the tasks will not get them done until you know the other preparation standards which not only facilitate the process but also finalize it perfectly.
