First, we need to know that Empathy and sympathy are two related but distinct concepts. Empathy: It simply means " The ability to sense other people's emotions with the ability to imagine what someone else might be thinking or feeling" Having empathy doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll want to help someone in need, though it’s often a vital first step toward compassionate action. Complem e nt vs Compl i ment - Which one to use? Do you pay someone a compliment? Or do you complement them on their new dress? Answer to both questions: “ Compliment ” Both words are “ Homophones ” * as they sound the same but have distinctly different meanings and spellings. Compl e ment: Related to completion . Either one thing actively completes another thing, it completes it, enhances it, improves it, or makes it perfect.. Whether in its noun or verb form, it’s always about completion. As a Noun “a complement”:  Something that makes another thing “complete” Ꙭ These red shoes are a great complement to my lace dress.
